        "reference-to-member" to be printed using the same code.

        type_vector, and type_vector_length as these are now
        defined by buildsym.[ch].

        these should only be used to implement xmalloc and xrealloc,
        and they conflict with <stdlib.h> in AIX - where they
        return void* even when __STDC__ isn't defined.  Sigh.
