This introduces a way for a callback to be run on the main thread.

* Makefile.in (SUBDIR_UNITTESTS_SRCS): Add

(HFILES_NO_SRCDIR): Add run-on-main-thread.h.
(COMMON_SFILES): Add run-on-main-thread.c.
